Quiet Andrew
Welcome to "Quiet Andrew", a place where we embrace the spirit of Andrew, the apostle who dedicated his life to connecting others to Jesus Christ.
Leading viewers to the heart of Faith in Jesus Christ through resources and trustworthy people is our main mission.
Andrew's example shines brightly as a model for our own purpose--pointing others to the transformative power of Christ.
As one of Jesus's earliest disciples, Andrew devoted himself to introducing people to the Savior.
From the moment he encountered Jesus he exemplified the role of a devoted disciple by bringing his brother Peter to the Messiah.
Yet Andrew's journey didn’t end there. He played a crucial role throughout his life, bridging gaps between individuals from diverse backgrounds and the life-changing message of Jesus, whether it was the young boy with loaves and fishes or the Greeks seeking the Messiah. His unwavering commitment to guiding others to Christ serves as a timeless reminder for us today.
In this same spirit, our channel aims to guide you on your own journey toward Jesus, helping you encounter God, the Creator and King of the Universe.
Just like Andrew, who recognized the potential for lives to be transformed by a relationship with Christ, we strive to create content that causes you to draw closer to Christ, and Him to you.
As Andrew faithfully introduced others to Jesus, our channel exists to support you on your faith journey utilizing the tools of modern media to share the timeless message of Salvation through Faith in Jesus Christ.
Can The Holy Bible be Trusted? Is The Bible Accurate & Reliable?
I believe the Bible is the inerrant infallible inspired Word of God, and that there is one God, existing in three Persons: Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit.
The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, rose victoriously from the grave, and all people who accept His gift of Salvation by Faith will be saved.
One time after I made the statement "Jesus Christ is The Only Way to Salvation" someone responded with "Just because YOU believe something, doesn’t make it true."
I happen to agree with that statement!
The above statement of faith is not just my opinion or belief; it is exactly what the Holy Bible teaches.
In John 14:6 Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. "
If the Bible can be shown to be Accurate and Reliable then the statement I made is Exactly True.
Is there compelling evidence that the Bible can be trusted? The answer is YES! Below is a summary of the evidence:
1. Fulfilled Prophecy - Jesus fulfilled over 300 distinct predictions from the Old Testament.
2. Archaeological Discoveries - Hank Hanegraaff, president of the Christian Research Institute, shares the story of Sir William Ramsay, a biblical skeptic and archaeologist. Ramsay aimed to disprove the historical accuracy of the book of Luke but ended up becoming a Christian as archaeology confirmed many of Luke's statements. Over time, other skeptical archaeologists have also been proven wrong when questioning the Bible. Wondering if God's Word is reliable? Just ask the archaeologists who have tried to disprove it.
3. Internal Consistency - The Bible's internal consistency is highlighted by its unified message over time. It consists of 66 books written by around 40 different authors over 1,500+ years. Many of these authors never met, lived far apart, and were spread across three continents. Despite these differences, the Bible presents a harmonious and consistent story of how God seeks to reconcile sinners, like you and me, back to Himself.
4. Extrabiblical Writings (writings outside the Bible) - More than 30 sources outside the Bible, written within 150 years of Jesus life, confirm over 100 facts about His life, teachings, crucifixion, and resurrection.
5. The Bible’s Scientific Accuracy and Foresight - The Bible has been shown to align perfectly with known, testable, and verifiable facts, which is remarkable considering it was written two to four thousand years ago ”long before the invention of microscopes, telescopes, satellites, and other technologies that help us explore the Earth and the universe.
6. The Manuscript Evidence - Some critics argue that the Bible has been translated and copied so many times over the centuries that we can't trust its contents. While this claim is popular, it is misguided, and ancient manuscript copies of the Bible demonstrate otherwise.
7. The Bible’s Forthrightness about its authors and characters failures - Does this forthrightness prove the Bible is divinely inspired? No, but it does strengthen the argument that the Bible seems to be a sincere and honest work.
8. The Persecution Endured by the Early Christians - Flavius Josephus, Eusebius, Tertullian, and other independent sources report that many of Jesus earliest followers, including the apostles, faced severe persecution and even death for their beliefs and for preaching that Jesus was Lord and had risen from the dead. Would people willingly die for something they don't truly believe in?
9. The Testimony of the Son of God - Another reason to trust the Bible is that Jesus affirmed its reliability! He proved Himself as the Son of God by fulfilling hundreds of Old Testament prophecies, living a sinless life, performing many miracles, and rising from the dead. Jesus assured us that the Jewish Scriptures could be trusted.
10. The Bible’s Transforming Power for Good - Wherever the Bible has been accepted, whether in prisons or remote villages in developing countries, it has changed lives for the better. Millions of people who once identified as immoral or godless have transformed into individuals who reflect Jesus after prayerfully reading the Bible.

What does the Bible teach about Salvation?
The Lord Jesus Christ explained salvation as being born again. Nicodemus, a religious man, came to Jesus one night wanting to "see the kingdom of God."
Jesus gave him an answer saying to him: "You must be born again" (John 3:7).
Nicodemus did not really understand this answer, and he asked how it was possible for a man to experience another physical birth.
Jesus explained what He meant by saying that for a man to go to heaven, he must be born again spiritually.
Jesus Christ explained, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:6)
Jesus was making it clear that the first birth is a flesh birth, but the second birth is a spiritual birth.
God is a Spirit (John 4:24) and being born again means that the second birth is to be born of God in a spiritual birth.
To be born again (or to be saved, as the book of Romans describe salvation) is to believe that Jesus Christ paid the penalty for your sins and literally rose from the dead.
You must trust completely. The Bible tells us that the penalty or punishment of sin is death. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
God told Adam if he disobeyed and ate of the forbidden tree, the penalty for that sin would be death.
The Bible tells us that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
Jesus Christ never sinned. As God in the flesh, He lived a perfect and sinless life.
Jesus Christ could have stood before God the Father and rightfully claimed that He had never sinned therefore did not deserve to die.
Why then did Jesus Christ die on the cross?
When Jesus Christ died on the cross, He was paying the penalty for the sin of all mankind.
Our sin and the judgment of our sin were laid on Him, and by dying on the cross, He paid the penalty that really was ours to pay.
He did not deserve to die but He died for us. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8).
To be saved, you must put your faith (belief) in Jesus Christ as being the One who paid the penalty for your sin, you must trust completely in what He has done for you to provide salvation.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. (John 1:12)
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)
If you understand and believe these things, turn to Jesus Christ to be your Savior; accept His gift of salvation that He offers to you.
In Luke 18:13, the sinner prayed, "God be merciful to me a sinner." If you believe these things, you can turn to Jesus Christ and accept His gift of salvation.
No amount of good works or other prayers at church will save you. It is God that saves you. Just take God at His word and receive His salvation by faith.
You may want to pray something like this:
God, I recognize that I am a sinner. I believe Jesus Christ paid the price for my sins through His death on the cross. I believe He rose from the dead and wants to be my Savior right now. I turn to Him and receive the gift of salvation and eternal life. Please save me. Amen.
Whether you have or haven’t made the decision to believe in Jesus Christ I am here to help answer any questions you may have.
My contact information is listed below if you choose to do so.
I pray that God will draw close to you and that His Holy Word (The Bible) will speak to your heart and bring you to a place of Peace with God, our Father in Heaven. Amen.
